Sheffield Employment and Skills Strategic Plan

The Sheffield Employment and Skills Advisory Board (SESAB) has developed an ambitious Employment and Skills Strategic Plan for Sheffield.  This co-created, city-level strategic plan sets out a long-term vision for a highly performing employment and skills system.  It will foster growth, optimise talent and tackle inequality, to create the conditions for prosperity for citizens and the local economy.  It identifies opportunities to strengthen employment and skills in Sheffield and respond to and overcome current and future challenges.

The strategic plan provides a framework within which partners will collaboratively and individually deliver impactful skills and employment activities, ensuring complementarity of purpose and focussing action on shared priorities.

Alongside the strategic plan, detailed action plans are being produced, setting out how the missions will be achieved.

This microsite provides partners, stakeholders, employers, learners and residents with access to information about the strategic plan and associated engagement and co-design process.
