As part of the strategy development process, Kada Research and ekosgen have undertaken a quantitative analysis of skills and labour market data.  This provides an understanding of the current employment and skills system in Sheffield and the wider issues facing the city; in particular the deep-rooted inequalities which can limit the lives of residents.

The Evidence Base Report highlights key points from the evidence base.  These have informed the development of the outcomes framework (set out at the end of the report) which provides the starting point for the Employment and Skills Strategy.
